The “Elia Palazzo Hotel” is at the West entrance to the old town of Chania on Theotokopoulou street, in the quarters of Topanas. It is the widest street of the old town, at the end of which the ammunitions warehouse of the Venetians still stands today.
The “Elia Palazzo Hotel” comprises ten rooms. The so called “Superior” rooms all have a balcony and the so called “Standard” rooms have windows to let in the bright light of the Cretan sun once opened. The rooms can accommodate up to three people, they are beautifully decorated with lively colors and are equipped with air conditioning, mini bar, satellite TV, phone, a safe vault, hair dryer and an espresso coffee maker. Free Wi-Fi is available in all the hotel spaces.
In the warm and hospitable restaurant area, we serve breakfast buffet with traditional Cretan delicacies and treats from all around Greece as well as hot and cold beverages.
The “Elia Palazzo Hotel” lends itself for a walk to all the sights of the old town (The Firkas Fortress, the Naval Museum, the Archaeological Museum, the Municipal Gallery, the Hebrew synagogue), but also for a stroll around the historic alleys bustling with life. Walking around the cobbled streets of the old town or the harbor pier you can do your shopping in one of the numerous stores or enjoy your drink and meal in one of the many restaurants.
Vehicles are not allowed to enter the old town or the harbor. The nearest parking area is in Talos square, about 100m from the hotel.
