San Salvatore
San Salvatore Monastery hotel is historic accommodation, housed in the original monastery of the Venetian times (1204 onwards). The common areas include the garden and cloister, and the second floor terrace overlooking the Cretan sea to the West.
The hotel offers split-level suites offering views over the Venetian harbour and the sea. All suites provide furnished, private outdoor areas, bedrooms with en suite bathroom, dedicated sitting areas and have been restored with modern facilities while preserving the Venetian touches such as beamed ceilings, pebble mosaic floors and thick stone walls.
The hotel is located in the old town of Chania, which is a pedestrianised area. The entrance is through Theotokopoulou street and hotel guests can book a private parking spot on site. Daily breakfast is served from 5am.
Accessibility: at the moment, all rooms contain stairs and the access to the second floor Penthouse suite is through an external staircase.
