The Belvedere boutique Hotel is the perfect place for a holiday, located amongst Cypress trees in the beautiful verdant area of Vassilikos; undoubtedly one of the prettiest places on Zakynthos. Vassilikos is a charming village still relatively untouched by tourism, with tavernas and bars set in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Built on the side of a small hill, it overlooks the green fields below and beyond the blue sea of Gerakas and Porto Roma bays; the two best beaches on the whole island, only a 5 minute walk away. The hotel is built with the utmost attention to detail.

Regarding Health and Safety measures for Covid-19 as provided by the Hotel

We would like to inform you that we are opening officially the Belvedere Hotel on July 1st.

THE BELVEDERE TEAM

Certified training to all our staff and systematic monitoring for strict adherence to guidelines.

Strict use of gloves and masks from the staff where and when necessary based on the instructions of the Hellenic National Health Organization.

FRONT OFFICE

Check-in 15:00 p.m. and check-out 10:00 a.m. according to the Greek CDC instructions.

Comfortable check-in procedures with safe distances.

Provision of travel declaration and health form.

Provision of contact details as demanded from the Greek CDC.

Guests will not be escorted to their rooms on arrival.

Hand sanitizers provided in all public areas.

Marked spots for keeping a safe distance in all public areas.

Frequent daily disinfection at contact points such as room keys, shared door handles, reception counters, etc.

Free Wi-Fi access all around the hotel. No internet corner available in site.

Courtesy room not available.

ROOMS

Strict and thorough room cleaning and disinfection protocols before each new arrival.

Additional equipment like decorative pillows, hotel directory, booklets and stationery are removed.

Modified room-cleaning program according to the Greek law and Greek National Public Health Organisation.

HOUSEKEEPING

Certified staff trained to prevent the spread of the virus.

Room cleaning available under specific terms and conditions.

Linen change provided only in consultation with the guest, according to the Hellenic National Health Organization.

Regular disinfection of all common areas.

Certificate of room disinfection upon arrival.

Certificate of room cleaning available upon request.

GASTRONOMY / F&B

Spacious restaurant capacity ensuring physical distancing.

High standards of food and beverage preparation in full accordance with the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point System) and the ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management).

Strict hand washing and hygiene policies in all teams involved in the food and beverage production.

Digital menus available through QR code system.

Breakfast is served from 7:00 till 10:00. The staff will serve the guests through a wide menu selection.

Dinner is served from 18:30 to 21:30. Dinner options available through an a la carte menu.

Extended breakfast and dinner hours.

Hand’s disinfection will be mandatory upon entry.

Self-service will be available in the pool bar only from 10:00 till 18:00.

Villa Rossa will operate from 18:00 till midnight offering light meals and drinks.

POOL

More frequent cleaning and disinfection of the outdoor pool and jacuzzi.

Suitable specialized products are used to preserve the hygiene standards.

Designated areas and specific guidelines promote the safe use of pool services.

Limited guests swimming simultaneously in the pool.

Guests can have pool towels for the pool area ONLY.Sharing towels and frequent change is prohibited.

Designated sunbeds indicating the usability.

Prohibited Entry to Non-Residents

Entrance of unauthorized personnel is allowed only by certifying their health condition.

Special wearing equipment is needed when entering to health facilities.

In case of a COVID incident

In the event of such a situation, the strategic planis as per below:

-Doctor is called to evaluate the situation.

-The doctor will decide if a COVID test should be done.

-The guest should remain isolated in his/her room until final results are published. In the presence of an escort, he/she should follow all the necessary protecting measures.

-Only one member of the staff is allowed to handle this situation, provided that he/she wears high protection equipment.

- If the test is positive, the doctor will advise the guest to visit the hospital, if necessary.

- If the transmission to the hospital is not necessary, the guest will be transferred to a quarantine hotel.

-The room will be disinfected and remain free for at least 24 hours.
