Hotel Mani is located at the entrance to Areopolis (across from the Areopolis post office, ELTA), 100m from the city center. Areopolis is found among the scattered settlements with towers, and is considered to be the bastion of Mani.

Having the hotel as your starting point, you can get to know the surrounding area with its steep mountains and impassable, at first glance, beaches, and 11km away, the magical caves of Diros. The hotel is 85km from historic Mystras, 26km from Gythio, 5km from Neo Itilo, 90km from Kalamata International airport, and 280km from Athens. You can also visit Limeni (4km), the quaint sea-side village of Gerolimenas, Vathia, Porto-Kagio, Marmari, with its awesome sandy beach, the cape of Tenaro or Cavo Matapas as it also known, which is the southernmost point of mainland Greece and the Balkan peninsula, the sanctuary of Poseidon, Lagia and Kotronas.
