Some of the nearest beaches in the area are just 15 minutes away by car. Ammoudara Beach (8 km), Helidoni Beach (11 km), these two are some of the most popular in Heraklion, and Pantanassa (11 km).

In Heraklion you will have the opportunity to visit many siteseeings such as the Archaeological Museum, the Venetian Port, the Historical Museum of Crete, the Museum of Natural History of Crete, as well as many other interesting buildings and locations of the city and the wider area such as the Minoan Palace of Knossos (9 km).
